Per-GPU-hour serving
Some providers serve models on rented accelerators rather than per token. Those rates are a different unit and are kept out of every per-token figure on this site — no spread, no histogram, no “from €X /1M”. Reproduced here as published, converted at the same fixed ECB rates.

Method & provenance
How this register is assembled, verified, mapped, and kept exact.
This directory was assembled by a multi-agent research sweep (22 research subagents across two waves plus an adversarial fact-check and a completeness critic), normalised into a single register of organisations, and is refreshed daily by a pricing-page watcher with an LLM fallback for pages that change or block fetching.
The map
Headquarters and datacentre pins come from a build-time enrichment (sites.json, human-reviewed): each pin's coordinates come from a static gazetteer, never from the orgs' text. Only organisations whose own text names a place are pinned — sites across orgs today. Region-only claims get an approximate halo; volume claims are never drawn. Dense cities collapse into a count glyph and expand as you zoom; nothing is drawn twice.
What counts as a record
One record per organisation. Resellers of non-European models are recorded
as inference providers. Every non-obvious field carries a primary-source URL; anything
unverifiable is null and shown as “unknown”.
Pricing
per-token price rows captured from providers’ own pages (, watcher-refreshed). The board converts to euro at fixed ECB rates (). IONOS runs two independently-set lists (.de EUR-native, .com USD-native) — converting one can never substitute for the other.
Adversarial review
A fact-check pass tried to refute the riskiest claims. Two blockers were applied: Aleph Alpha has been a Cohere subsidiary since April 2026, and Domyn’s ~$1.1bn raise never verifiably closed. Unconfirmable claims are marked unverified.
Logos
Marks are keyed on each organisation's own web domain, never on an API endpoint host. Where no own domain is verifiable the pin falls back to an ink monogram — never a broken image.

Full dataset: directory.json + pricing.csv (caveats preserved in note/unit_raw). Schema: SCHEMA.md. Site: static, zero dependencies, build.py regenerates data.js.
